Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst compiles and analyzes financial data to help business partners and company leadership make strategic, operational, and tactical decisions. Compiling data primarily from SAP, this role analyzes and produces standard and ad-hoc reports used to evaluate options and quantitatively measure progress towards goals. Acting as an internal consultant, the Financial Analyst designs, develops, and maintains standard reporting tools and analysis of key performance indicators for assigned departments.  Responds to requests for ad-hoc and routine reporting in a timely and accurate manner, constantly seeking to improve processes and resource scalability.


  • Utilizes financial systems and other resources to create insightful, timely and accurate reporting tools to facilitate informed decisions by leadership team.
  • Consults with business partners requesting ad-hoc reporting to understand business need, define business purpose and application of requested data and recommend metrics to fulfill the request.
  •  Completes monthly and quarterly reporting on actual performance to ensure forecast accuracy, timely delivery, and provide insightful variance commentary.
  •  Collaborates with business leaders to develop recommendations for ongoing planning processes including forecast updates, annual budgets, and long term plans.
  •  Provides research and analytical support to cross-functional groups to evaluate and financially model sales performance and opportunities for improvement.
  •  Develops visualization tools to assist business partners in analyzing reports and developing action plans based on data.
  •  Assesses financial viability of potential growth opportunities and provide recommendations and guidance to business partners
  •  Communicates analytical findings in a compelling and concise manner to inform and guide strategic decisions.


  •          Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  •          0 - 2 years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role
  •          Ability to challenge current strategies or objectives and propose alternative recommendations, as necessary, based on in depth knowledge of analytical methods and approaches
  •          Ability to distill complex findings and concepts into key data points and visualizations
  •          Communication skills to succinctly and accurately present top line conclusions from analytical projects to all types of audiences
  •          Strong attention to detail, tolerance for time sensitive deadlines and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  •          Highly proficient with Excel, other MS office products and SAP. Ability to quickly learn other software packages as needed
  •          Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to address issues from multiple perspectives, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet all deadlines with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.
